Blyde dam boat trips open and compliant to Covid regulations
The new and exciting 250m Cliff Walk gives visitors and adventure enthusiast a unique opportunity to descend into the gorge through a series cliff walkways, suspension bridges and a 80m zipline that takes you on a journey from the top of the gorge, over the edge of the cliff and along the cliff face, crossing over to the other side of the gorge via a suspension bridge, and then descending down to withing a few meters of the Motisi Water Fall before ziplining back across the gorge into a hidden cut back in the cliff face, that we have come to call the “wave cave” and forms part of the new extension to the existing forest experience.
The Cliff Walk is no ordinary walkway, and to venture off the cliff you need an adventurous spirit as there are no handrails, or balustrading protecting you, just a walkway bolted onto the cliff face. Each participant is kitted up with a full body harness and clipped onto a state of the art continuous safety line that secures each participant along the whole 250m journey. This allows unique access to this cliff face environment with amazing views and glimpse into world rarely visited by man.
There are limited departures per day, so pre-booking is essential.
