Experience the thrill of being close to these magnificent creatures; witness their intelligence, their compassionate nature and the deep bonds they share with their human family. While the Elephant Handlers share their wealth of knowledge about fascinating elephant behaviour, enjoy a wonderful hour of touching and feeding the elephants, taking photographs and experiencing the incredible trust that has developed through gentle interaction.
After the interaction, saddle-up and set off into the African bush. Enjoy a different perspective while embarking on a privileged journey atop an elephant.
For the well-being of both our guests and our elephants, safety guidelines are shared before each activity. Experienced handlers are present throughout to guide you. Please bring your own camera (our team will happily assist with photos). Refreshments are available for purchase on site. If rain is expected, please bring suitable rainwear — our elephants aren’t fans of umbrellas, so we kindly ask that they stay tucked away. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian aged 21 years or older.
It was a fantastic experience. From start to finish this exceeded all expectations. The customer service was second to none. Most importantly the elephants were well treated. Unlike other elephant experiences I have had in India and Thailand, these elephants were not chained and there was not a whip in sight. These elephants were like well behaved children listening to instructions and then being rewarded with food. This is one of my family's best animal encounters we have ever had. All the staff amd handlers were kind and patient. We learned an awful lot about the elephants and found the experience to be simply amazing. Thank you. - Yolande
